Union of Young Political Scientists of Ukraine presents an open discussion on the following topics:
• Analysis of Activities of Government Institutions and Political Parties
• National Security and Territorial Integrity Issues
• International Relations and Foreign Affairs of Ukraine
• Ethnic, National and Lingual Processes in Ukraine
• Issues of Internal Development of Ukraine
• Practices of Political Technologies
• Local Politics and Activities of Local Governments in Ukraine

Both analytical articles and analytical commentaries are acceptable.

All papers should meet the following requirements:
• Reflect an individual opinion;
• Include thorough argumentation and precise conclusions;
• Give an element of prognosis or offer the way in which processes in question may develop;
• Be topical and timely;
• Give references when quotations, opinions or data are used;
• Follow the rules of grammar and style;
• Do not exceed 3-5 pages for analytical article and 1 page for commentary.

All materials that meet these requirements will be displayed on our web-site. The best ones will be forwarded to mass media, civic and political organizations. Administration of the site maintains the right to edit materials without altering ideas expressed.

THE day after Dmitry Medvedev's presidential victory, Moscow's leading papers turned their attention away from the long-predicted result to the unexpected bloodshed in Armenia. At least eight people were killed in clashes between security forces and opposition supporters protesting against alleged fraud in the country's presidential elections. "An election won with some blood", ran the headline in Kommersant, a leading business daily.

UN GENERAL ASSEMBLY ADOPTS RESOLUTION REAFFIRMING TERRITORIAL INTEGRITY OF AZERBAIJAN PDF Print E-mail

Seriously concerned that the armed conflict in and around the Nagorny Karabakh region of Azerbaijan continued to endanger international peace and security, the General Assembly today reaffirmed Azerbaijan's territorial integrity, expressing support for that country's internationally recognized borders and demanding the immediate withdrawal of all Armenian forces from all occupied territories there.
